Synopsis

Spellbound tells the story of Dr. Constance Petersen, a psychiatrist at Green Manors psychiatric hospital in Vermont. She is seen as an ice princess by her male colleagues due to her dedication to work over social life.

Things change when Dr. Anthony Edwardes arrives as the new chief of staff, replacing Dr. Murchison. There is an immediate spark between Petersen and Edwardes, who admit their romantic feelings for each other.

However, Petersen soon notices troubling signs in Edwardes, indicating he may be suffering from amnesia. As she tries to help him regain his memory through psychoanalysis, they must keep his condition a secret, especially as he believes he may have committed murder.

The belief that Edwardes may be a murderer puts Petersen's life in danger, as she tries to uncover the truth about his past while keeping their secret hidden from others.
