Dark Angel: The Ascent

Synopsis

Nurturing a childish curiosity about the world above, Veronica Iscariot, a rebellious young demoness, escapes her infernal realm. In search of salvation, the damned female demon, now transformed into mortal shape, meanders through the living world, only to realise that corruption and hate have poisoned humankind. However, as the dark angel with the saintly face embarks on a bloody mission to rid the town of the scum of the earth, a chance encounter with compassionate surgeon Dr Max Barris will usher in a new era of unprecedented emotions. But can a supernatural creature from another world fall for a human? Above all, is there a future between the devilish vigilante and the man with a heart of gold?
