The use of ambient noises and dissonant tones in the soundtrack adds an unsettling quality to the film, mirroring Joe's fractured mental state and the disturbing nature of the crimes he is investigating. The music serves as a powerful tool to convey the emotional weight of the story without relying on traditional dialogue.
