Synopsis

Winter in upstate New York. Irene is working class, mother of two children and a cocaine user. She gets into trouble and checks into a rehab program where she meets Bob, a sick man. After going home to her husband and returning to her job as a grocery inspector, she keeps in touch with Bob and hints of an affair begin. By now, she has changed jobs, cleaning houses with her friend Lucy. The temptations of drugs are at her fingertips. Can she handle sobriety? and Bob?
